As part of the Erasmus+ project “Building Community Links,” POZITIVO Skopje, in cooperation with Leaders Without Borders, is organizing an experiential intergenerational workshop titled “Bridge Between Generations”, bringing young people and older adults together for an afternoon of learning, storytelling and creative exchange.

The workshop will take place on 30 August 2026, from 12:00 to 14:00, at DNEVNA, Londonska 19/4, Skopje.

Learning Goes Both Ways

The workshop is part of the promotion of project results and is built around a simple but powerful idea: every generation has knowledge and experience worth sharing.

During the activity, young participants will serve as digital mentors, helping older participants explore how everyday experiences and personal stories can be transformed into engaging digital content. They will share practical tips and demonstrate accessible ways of using digital tools.

At the same time, older participants will become storytellers and mentors themselves, sharing meaningful life experiences, memories, knowledge and lessons that cannot be found in textbooks or online tutorials.

Through this exchange, participants will not only learn new skills but also practice communication, active listening, empathy, creativity and mutual respect.

Building Community Links Through Intergenerational Learning

The workshop reflects one of the central ideas of the Building Community Links project: stronger communities are created when people have opportunities to meet, communicate and learn from one another.

By creating a space where younger and older generations contribute equally, “Bridge Between Generations” aims to challenge stereotypes about age, encourage meaningful dialogue and demonstrate that learning can happen in every direction and at every stage of life.

Because when generations connect, knowledge is exchanged, stories are preserved, new skills are developed—and genuine community links are created.
