We’re thrilled to share that we had the privilege to host Avely Austa, a passionate youth worker and coach from Estonia, who recently completed her first-ever 10-day job shadowing experience in Macedonia with Katerina Zlatanovska Popova, experienced career counselor, and soft skills trainer!  

From immersive learning sessions to hands-on coaching techniques, Avely dove headfirst into new experiences, gaining valuable insights and practical skills that will undoubtedly shape her future in youth work.  

During her time shadowing, Avely: 

 Explored innovative coaching methods, including Points of You certification, to empower young people. 

 Built meaningful connections with professionals in the field. 

 Gained fresh perspectives on youth engagement and leadership by participating in several workshops. 

 Enhanced new toolkits with creative techniques for impactful work with women. 

 Made a professional photo session for building a personal brand.

But it wasn’t all work and no play! Avely also had the chance to network with like-minded individuals from different backgrounds, exchange ideas, and soak inspiration from diverse cultures and approaches. We ignited fresh ideas through brainstorming sessions and paved the way for powerful new collaborations, transforming vision into action. 

Reflecting on her experience, Avely shared:  „These 10 days have been nothing short of transformative. I’ve learned much about myself, my passion for youth work, and the endless possibilities to make a difference. I’m leaving with a full heart, a notebook of ideas, and a network of incredible people who inspire me daily.”

Avely’s journey is a testament to the power of stepping out of your comfort zone, embracing new challenges, and continuously growing as a professional.
